When I enter an interesting female icon, a classical myth or a folk one, I mix figurative and expressionist style. What comes out is a symbolic and surrealistic narration around the theme. Deivas is plural for Deiva, a word I invented mixing the latin dea and the sanscrit deva. The deivas self-describe themselves, overcoming the etero-description they had to carry on with.
